Characteristics of campers in private and state-owned campgrounds in Wisconsin

, : Characteristics of campers in private and state-owned campgrounds in Wisconsin. Journal of Travel Research 22(1): 10-14

The purpose of the study was to ascertain the characteristics of campers and to explain the differences and similarities between people who camped in public campgrounds operated by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and in campgrounds owned by members of a private camp owners' group, the Wisconsin Association of Campground Owners (WACO).
