, : Characteristics of courtship and mating behaviour used as classificatory criteria in Eulophidae-Tetrastichinae (Hymenoptera), with special reference to the genus Tetrastichus s.l. Tijdschrift voor Entomologie 125(7): 205-220

The value of behavioural characters for taxonomic work was tested in a comparative study of the courtship and mating behaviour of species of Tetrastichinae. In particular, species-groups of the large genus Tetrastichus were investigated. Similarities and differences are discussed. Transformations between character-states were found that appear to reflect stages in the evolutionary development of this group.
