, : Characteristics of podzolised soils formed in carbonate-bearing tills in the Schefferville area. Canadian Mineralogist 19(32): 85-95

Four soil profiles are analysed; two are derived from an acidic till and two from a till containing dolomite. The latter two soils contain higher amounts of organic matter in the subsoil B horizons and much of this organic matter is in the form of humic acid. In the acidic soils, B horizon organic matter contents are lower and fulvic acid dominates.
