The study examines the communication network between staff (agricultural extension personnel) and consultants (agricultural specialists) in developing agricultural extension programmes in Egypt. The institutional structure of agricultural extension in Egypt is reviewed and the survey was based on interviews with staff and consultants at relevant levels of the structure.
