Phytochemistry 22(1): 49-52

Characterization of plasmalemma ATPase from apple fruit

Fruits of the apple Calville de Saint Sauveur were harvested at the preclimacteric stage and cold stored. At intervals samples were transferred to 20 deg C and ethylene and CO2 output was monitored daily to determine the stage of ripening.
