Chemical and growth habits in okra plants
Plant height and leaf and stem dry matter contents at 54-144 days after sowing; leaf and stem NPK contents at 54-114 days after sowing; changes in NPK, carbohydrate and fibre contents of pods at 4-10 days after fruit set; changes in the number and weight of pods/plant; and changes in pod weight, length and diameter during the fruiting phase were determined in 2-year studies with the okra Gammy.
