Chemical and mineral composition on different cuttings of lucerne (Medicago sativa)

Lucerne was cut 7 times from 74 to 229 days after sowing when leaf to stem ratio changed from 1.5:1 to 0.08:1. The DM increased progressively from 15.2 to 27.4, average 21.5%.
