, : Chemical composition and nutritive value of a lipid-protein concentrate from West African locust-bean (Parkia filicoidea Welw.). Nutrition Reports International 25(6): 867-878

Locust bean meal and a concentrate prepared from it by extraction with 0.75 M NaCl then screen filtration contained moisture 3.5 and 7.4, crude protein 30.3 and 60.5, fibre 12.1 and 4.6, ether extract 20.2 and 10.5, ash 7.2 and 9.4, calcium 0.3 and 0.5 and phosphorus 0.4 and 0.4%, respectively. The amino acid compositions were similar.
