In field-plot tests in the UK in 1982, sprays of fenitrothion at 0.7 kg a.i./ha, deltamethrin at 0.008 kg, cypermethrin at 0.025 kg and HCH at 0.28 kg gave equally good control of Phyllotreta spp. on kale at the cotyledon to 2 true leaves stages.
