Chemical control of the fall armyworm in maize
In field tests on maize in Brazil for the control of Spodoptera frugiperda (J.E. Smith), it was found that granular formulations applied to the plant whorl with a manual dispenser were less affected by rainfall after treatment than were spray applications.
