In a field trial at Guadalupe with transplanted rice, the granulated herbicides (a) oxyfluorfen A and (b) oxyfluorfen B, (c) penoxalin (d) benthiocarb (e) benthio-simetryne, (f) dimethametryn-piperophos and oxadiazon at different rates were evaluated. The most aggressive weeds were Echinochloa crus-galli, E. colonum and Ischaemum rugosum.
