Chemical sterilisation of the codling moth Laspeyresia pomonella L. (Lepidoptera, Tortricidae)

, : Chemical sterilisation of the codling moth Laspeyresia pomonella L. (Lepidoptera, Tortricidae). Gradinarska i Lozarska Nauka 20(1): 27-35

Laboratory and field tests were carried out in Bulgaria to determine the effectiveness of several chemosterilants against adults of Cydia pomonella (L.) (Laspeyresia pomonella). A 10-min contact period with a modified pheromone trap, the surface of which was covered with a 6% aqueous solution of dimatif (P,P-bis(1-aziridinyl)phosphinothioic amide) or a 5% solution of thiotepa (thiophosphamide), resulted in 100% sterility of males.
