Chemistry against trypanosomiasis

The first part of this review presents a general account of animal trypanosomiasis in Africa and of the control strategies and drugs available for treatment. A table of 36 African countries with data on animal stock numbers, numbers of trypanocidal treatments administered over 6 years (1970-1975) and notes on epizootiology and breeds is presented.
