Cocoa breeding in Ghana with reference to swollen-shoot disease

It is noted that the Upper Amazon X Amazon X Amelonado hybrids grown at present are less resistant to the swollen shoot virus than the best available breeding material. A range of pollen parents, selected for resistance, are being tested.
