Effect of rootstock on the nitrogen and mineral element contents in the leaves of the plum cultivar Stanley

Stanley plum trees grown on 10 different seedling rootstocks had similar leaf N, Mg and Mn contents. However, the rootstock Zh"lta Dzhanka (Prunus cerasifera) reduced P and increased K contents in the leaves, whereas Karadzheika and Azhanska (P. domestica) reduced leaf K. The lowest Ca content was found in leaves from trees on M"tna Byaka Rakiinitsa (P. domestica).
