In 1981, the parasite Spalangia endius Wlk. was released weekly for 13 weeks on 2 livestock feedlots in eastern Nebraska for the control of Musca domestica L. and Stomoxys calcitrans (L.). About 940 000 and 1 310 000 parasites were released on the 2 lots over the test period. The rates of parasitism in control (untreated) and treated lots were 12.8 and 18.4%, respectively, for M. domestica and 7.8 and 8.8% for S. calcitrans.
