High milk production of cows based on a firm feeding foundation

High milk production of cows based on a firm feeding foundation

Molochnoe i Myasnoe Skotovodstvo (10): 27-29

The progress of milk production on the 7 farms of the All-Union Institute of Feeds is described and illustrated by tables. Yields and proportions of different feed crops on the farms during 1976-1981 are shown, and feeding schemes for dry cows and cows yielding 10-40 kg milk daily developed on the farms are tabulated.
