alpha and beta -Glucosidases were located in the pollen wall, pollen cytoplasm, pollen tube and stigma hair of germinating P. grandiflora pollen grains. Only stigma hair sheaths were free of enzymes. In non-germinating pollen grains the enzymes were concentrated in the pollen wall.
