Histochemical studies of tomato root galls caused by Meloidogyne incognita

Histochemical studies of tomato root galls caused by Meloidogyne incognita

Indian Phytopathology 34(1): 96-99

Tomato seedlings were inoculated with M. incognita (500 larvae) and after 45 days the roots were examined for metabolic substances. Levels of proteins and ascorbic acid increased in root galls whereas carbohydrate levels decreased.
