Historical observations on the cultivar development of Chinese cabbage in Korea



Chinese cabbage Proceedings of the first international symposium: 41-47



The introduction, adaptation and breeding of this crop in Korea is outlined. A genealogical diagram of varieties produced during 1900-1970 is presented; most are hybrids between Chinese and Japanese local varieties and are heterotic.
