A press for rectangular Dutch-type cheese comprises 6 individual pressing units, arranged side-by-side, each provided with a separate pneumatic pressing cylinder, employing compressed air at 0.2-0.4 MPa pressure. The pressing units are inclined to facilitate whey separation and 132 cheeses are pressed at the same time.
