Hormonal dependence of the first spermatogenic wave in the mouse

Hormonal dependence of the first spermatogenic wave in the mouse

Archives of Andrology 9(2): 135-140

In a preliminary experiment it was shown that antiserum to rat gonadotropins was capable of binding homologous LH and FSH in vitro, and mouse LH and FSH in vivo. The administration of the antiserum did not evoke antibody production. In the main experiment, the physiological role of endogenous gonadotropins during neonatal life was studied by administration of the antiserum to groups of newborn male mice.
