Hormonal regulation of ovarian epidermal growth factor receptors in the rat

Hormonal regulation of ovarian epidermal growth factor receptors in the rat

Factors regulating ovarian function: 209-213

The binding properties of epidermal growth factor (EGF) to rat ovarian receptors were found to be specific and of high affinity. Ovarian EGF receptor level was increased by HCG and FSH, and it is suggested that changes in receptor level during the oestrous cycle were related to changes in circulating gonadotropin concentration.
