The author discusses the food-plants of larvae of Amsacta moorei (Btlr.) in the Rajasthan Desert, India. The crops attacked include groundnut, moong bean (Vigna radiata), moth bean (V. aconitifolia (Phaseolus aconitifolius)), cowpea (V. unguiculata), guar (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba), bajra (Pennisetum americanum (typhoides)), sorghum and various grasses.
