Host Suitability and Susceptibility of Glycine max cv. Bedford to Race 1 of Heterodera glycines

Host Suitability and Susceptibility of Glycine max cv. Bedford to Race 1 of Heterodera glycines

Journal of Nematology 15(1): 136-139

In glasshouse tests a population of H. glycines race 1 from Beaufort County, North Carolina, USA, had an index of parasitism of 112% on soybean Bedford and reduced yields of this cultivar in the field. Reproduction on Bedford was significantly greater than that of race 3 or 4.
