Housing problems of rural population in Nigeria: a study of five villages

Rural Africana, New Series (14): 68-76

A survey of housing quality was conducted in five villages in the Akure Local Government Area of Ondo State of Nigeria. The main purpose was specifically to find out the quality of houses in the rural villages. Water supply and electricity services were taken as indicators of housing quality, and thus the variables in the study were based on these two items.
