How to control voles in seedbeds and globe artichoke plantings

Savi's pine voles (Pitymis savii) can be controlled in seedbeds by applying toxic chemicals around the entrances of the tunnels and on nearby seedlings early in the season when tunnelling begins. In globe artichoke plantings, chemicals should be applied to partly eaten plants to which the animals will return later.
