Human whey proteins separation - a new approach for their identification by HPLC

Human whey proteins separation - a new approach for their identification by HPLC

Milchwissenschaft 38(7): 392-394

Separation of human colostral whey proteins by Sephadex G-75 Superfine chromatography and by size-exclusion HPLC on TSK 2000 SW gave similar results for the principal proteins; the proteose-peptone fraction was contained in 2 peaks after Sephadex separation but in only 1 after HPLC. Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and electrofocusing of the 4 main peaks eluted from Sephadex confirmed results obtained by HPLC, i.e.
