96 antibody-free cows, inoculated nasally or intramuscularly with one of three live, attenuated vaccines ("Tracherine", "Resbo-IBR-PI3", "Respacine-3"), showed a moderate increase in serum antibody titres. 196 cows having neutralization titres of 1:3 or above failed to show an increase in titre after vaccination.
