Impact of small farmers development agency programmes on the net farm income, labour employment pattern and off-farm income

The study examines the impact of small farmers development agency programmes (SFDA) on net income, yield and labour employment pattern and off-farm incomes in Hoogly district of West Bengal. Data were collected from a sample of 25, 30 and 30 farmers in 1973, 1976 and 1979 respectively from each of the beneficiary and non-beneficiary households. Tabular analysis is used to develop the existing plans, and regression techniques are employed to examine the impact of employment on wage earnings.
