Increasing the yield and vitality of rice seeds by top dressing with nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium

In trials in 1978-9 with rice, a top dressing of N before flowering increased the paddy yields and sowing qualities of the resulting seeds. A top dressing of P or K had no effect on yield but increased the sowing quality.
