The following filarial nematodes were found in a survey of more than 2500 birds of 128 species in Yugoslavia: Serratospiculum guttatum in Falco tinnunculus; Diplotriaena tricuspis in 5 species of Corvidae; D. tridens in Lanius collurio; D. obtusa in Hirundo rustica; D. henryi in Merops apiaster; Ornithofilaria mavis in Turdus pilaris.
