On the interspecific crossability between Capsicum annuum L. and Capsicum pubescens R. & P.; Capsicum annuum L. and Capsicum pendulum Willd. (syn. baccatum)

The following were used as parents in crosses: C. annuum varieties Sivriya, Pazardzhishka Kapiya D103 X Sivriya (tetraploid 144), three forms of C. pendulum var. longissilicum C. pendulum var. bicoloratum and C. pubescens. Single seeds and a sterile hybrid plant were obtained from C. annuum X C. pendulum, and single seeds and a sterile sesquidiploid plant were obtained from C. annuum X C. pubescens.
