Physiological aspects of adult-plant resistance of spring wheat to yellow rust (Puccinia striiformis West.) and effects on yield

Physiological aspects of adult-plant resistance of spring wheat to yellow rust (Puccinia striiformis West.) and effects on yield

Physiologische Aspekte und Ertragswirksamkeit der Altersresistenz von Sommerweizen gegenuber Gelbrost Puccinia striiformis West: 103

In greenhouse experiments, the varieties Adler Cardinal, Kleiber Kolibri and Sappo were distinguished, on the basis of latent period, rates of growth and sporulation and infection type of race 37E132, as having adult-plant resistance, as compared with the susceptible varieties Solo and H. Kolben. Infection type on the flag leaf proved a satisfactory criterion of resistance.
