Rapid detection of infectious bursal disease antibodies by counterimmunoelectrophoresis

Counterimmunoelectrophoresis was used to detect infectious bursitis virus-specific precipitating antibodies in chicken serum. The method was sensitive, simple, reproducible and rapid--detecting precipitins after 45 min.
