Abstract
A large number of plants of nine clones were intercrossed or selfed. Flandria, Kosice and HKP set more pods under self pollination than in either direction of crossing with the other clones. As a seed parent, Hodoninka clone 12 gave the highest pod yields. Hodoninka 11 was the best pollinator. After self pollination, all clones except Sobulky produced more seeds per pod in the greenhouse than in the field and in all but Sobulky and Isis the percentage of fruits set was greater in the greenhouse.
