A large number of plants of nine clones were intercrossed or selfed. Flandria, Kosice and HKP set more pods under self pollination than in either direction of crossing with the other clones. As a seed parent, Hodoninka clone 12 gave the highest pod yields. Hodoninka 11 was the best pollinator.
