Study of the development times of Strongylus vulgaris larvae in field conditions (Communication II)

Tests made from May to October 1975 and April to September 1974 in northern Kazakhstan, USSR showed that S. vulgaris larvae developed in the environment from April to the first fortnight of September. In May 1974, larvae developed within 9 to 12 days but in May 1975 within 6.5 to 17 days. These variations were related to temperature and humidity variations.
