In pot experiments with oats and Rumex spp., oats Pegaz were given N in the form of (a) ammonium nitrate, (b) calcium nitrate, (c) urea or (d) ammonium sulphate at 0, 0.3, 0.6 or 0.9 g N/pot (7 kg soil). Plants were harvested at the beginning of heading and the contents of Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, Mo and B in tops and roots were determined.
