The volume of bark and branches and weight of foliage in Scots pine stands in Lithuania

The volume of bark and branches and weight of foliage in Scots pine stands in Lithuania

Lesnoi Zhurnal 6: 14-18

The bark vol. was measured on 1128 felled stems of Scots pine on 29 sample plots, and the wt. of green needles and the vol. of dead and living branches were measured on 396 sample trees. Formulae are derived for determining these values as a function of tree diam. and age.
