Under Austrian legislation, on 1.1.1983 new regulations were introduced on the training of apprentices. Those authorized to train apprentices must have passed a special exam covering their teaching knowledge as well as their special skills and practical experience. This exam may form part of their master craftsman's exam or may be taken separately. Some 23 hours of teaching for this course are included in the 5 month training for the dairy business masters course.
