A geminivirus - tobacco leaf curl virus in China

The virus causing leaf curl of tobacco was found in Fujian Province in 1973 and 1979. It was not transmitted by sap, tobacco seed, dodder or Trialeurodes vaporariorum but more than 90% infection was obtained by graft transmission.
