A method of determining the abundance of the Colorado beetle in the field
A method for determining the abundance of the Colorado beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata (Say)) in potato crops in the USSR is described, based on field experiments in 1977-81 on the number of diapausing beetles in the soil. Sampling should be carried out at the time of harvest.
