A miniaturization trial with hydrangeas as flowering pot plants. 1983 Results

A miniaturization trial with hydrangeas as flowering pot plants. 1983 Results

Horticulture Francaise (159): 4-7

To obtain flowering hydrangeas 25-35 cm in height with a minimum number of 5-6 corymbs in 12-13 cm diameter pots, trials were carried out with several cultivars on the reduction of the growth cycle by delayed planting of cuttings (early July) and pinching (not before 15 August) with or without Alar 85 (daminozide) at 300 g/hl applied at forcing (January). The data are tabulated.
