Admission policy and international harmonization

Principally concerned with the regulations concerning the cross-frontier movement of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and plant protection chemicals in general, the article points to the economic significance for agriculture of such regulations as international harmonization (EC, FAO/WHO) may eventually produce. The residue problem is important and progress slow.
