Advances in selection for greater tolerance to the bean golden mosaic virus (BGMV) in Guatemala

A procedure of selective transgressive segregation was used to obtain 48 lines and 237 segregating progenies with higher resistance than the control, ICTA Quetzal, from the F5 of crosses involving tolerant and adapted lines of Phaseolus vulgaris.
