Abstract
It is suggested that cottonseed oilmeal, sunflower oilmeal and rapeseed oilmeal are the most likely materials for providing a greater proportion of the dietary protein for poultry in the near future. However, these all possess physical or nutritional factors that limit their usage, and it is concluded that soya bean oilmeal is likely to remain the major protein source in poultry feeds.
