Publication Department of Agricultural Economics, Cornell University (A.E.Res.83-30): 33

Special crop studies for the 1982 crop year were undertaken for Long Island cauliflower and kraut and storage cabbage grown in western New York State. In addition to these crop studies, an effort was made to gather current data on custom rates for farm operations in the state. The data was obtained from interviews with 26 cabbage growers who provided data for 40 cabbage enterprises and nine homegrown transplant enterprises covering 25% of the cabbage area in upstate New York State.
