Agrokemia es Talajtan 30(3/4): 307-320



The effect of increasing doses of P fertilizers with varying degrees of solubility on the P fractions of the leaves, grain and whole plants of maize and on the NPK ratio was studied on sandy, meadow and chernozem soils. Superphosphate and phosphoric acid caused the greatest increase over 2 yr in the P content of maize leaves on sandy and meadow soils. Increased doses of fertilizer primarily influenced the inorganic and organic P fractions of the leaves.
