Agrokemia es Talajtan 31(1/2): 29-36



The effects of increasing rates of P fertilizers with varying degrees of water solubility on maize yield and P utilization were studied on sandy, meadow and chernozem soils. The application of P fertilizers resulted in a mean yield increase of 31%. Superphosphate brought about the most favourable yield increase on the sandy soil, while phosphoric acid and Algiers rock phosphate increased yields by more than 70%.
