Effect of different physical conditions of red earths on phosphorus diffusion

Effect of different physical conditions of red earths on phosphorus diffusion

Acta Pedologica Sinica 21(1): 1-9

For lateritic red earth, a critical value for bulk density was observed in relation to P diffusion. It represented the point at which a sharp change occurred in the response of P diffusion to increasing bulk density, from an increase to a decrease; this occurred at about 1.35 g/cmsuperscript 3 under a soil water content of 25% and 1.5 g/cmsuperscript 3 under a soil water content of 14.5%.
